This ad was infamous for being AI animated, which could be seen in this climate as a form of irritation advertising. With AI being literally everywhere, as well as this ad being so obviously AI, it is upsetting that real animators weren't hired

#media180ProfShane_F24 Do the right thing made me cry, straight up. Radio Raheem's death scene was so unnecessary, and when tensions were just easing. The chaos of the scene, complimented with dutch camera angles and lots of hard cuts, created an especially upsetting fear.

After watching Do the Right Thing, I felt frustrated and angry. The close-up shots of the characters' faces showed their emotions and harsh lighting made it feel tense and uncomfortable. The loud music and fast editing during the violent scenes made the tension even stronger.

The way Do The Right Thing is shot constantly weaving from perspectives between scenes and placing the camera in scenes I found as an affective way to bring the viewer in to the feelings of the characters, being hot, frantic and just wanting to get through the day as it comes.

After watching Do The Right Thing my immediate response was frustration because of the way the director shot scenes made interactions look more intense. The death of Radio Raheem due to police violence was also very saddening as it is something that still happens to this day.

After watching Do the Right Thing, I felt frustrated, angry and sad. Spike Lee portrayed this feelings in this film by using different lighting and camera angles like dutch angles. The lighting helped show the heat in the movie. The dutch angles evoked confusion in me. #media180ProfShane_F24

Do the Right Thing gave me anxiety. The mounting of tension and heat in to finally end up in chaos struck fear and anxiety into me. The close ups and tilted angles into the characters made me feel uncomfortable.
