Google Books appears to have regained its search function. At a quick glance I don't see any significant differences.
Someone mentioned that Google Scholar was also having problems, and a quick search there revealed an improvement: they now have links to (some, but not all) unpublished papers […]
Has anyone noticed that Google Books searches no longer work? No matching books even for topics such as "Cicero", "Shakespeare", "Florus of Lyons" or "Bible." Might this be the end of Google Books?

I've been trying to access the University of Bologna's FISCUS database looking for materials from the the Venice state archives, but the url fiscus.unibo.it keeps throwing a 503 down for maintenance error. Does anyone know if this is a temporary issue, or is it just gone for good?
