Crafty Intentions released a doll pattern with a number of accessories. One of which is a selkie coat. I had to make the thing:

Two crocheted seahorses via a pattern by MeganLapp of Crafty Intentions. And one of her Curvy Mermaids. The larger seahorse is made with worsted (4) yarn. The smaller with Fingering (1) yarn. The size difference is about 20%. The mermaid holds a tophat with gold coins to share.
