Work in progress for my monster prom oc mimicking the style of the monster prom franchise. Rainford (Vermillion, he/they) the royal court jester for the Merkingdom who wields a terrifying secret. He's not good at being funny and usually has to result to physical jokes and dark improv hunor to make Miranda happy. His right arm is cursed by their accidental deep dark patron of the Fathomless abyss which they encountered one fateful night in the Mariana's Trench. Their arm is dangerous and wicked and toxic as the needles protruding from it are skin to a sea urchin. He must always wear his jester costume according to his patron of the abyss... And also Miranda 😔. The design is based off of the court jester goby \Koumansetta rainfordi\.

Working on my #MonsterProm OC, the melancholy royal court jester for the Merkingdom and it's "kind" and "majestic" rulers. Here's what I got so far! I think it looks pretty MonsterPromy 😁. The court jester is cursed to witness the abyss.

WIP sketch and illustration of my court jester goby based Monster prom OC. He is a haunted court jester of the Merkingdom. However, it's not serving Miranda that haunts him the most. What haunts him the most are the souls of the deep that continue to call to him. The lost souls buried, millions, upon millions under the foundation of the Vanderbilt empire. His right arm is cursed to bear the souls of the deep, of which he is constantly trying to conceal. He thinks Scott, Chaz, Doug, Morty, Adrian, Brian, Damien, and Oz are all quite attractive. Due to constantly peering into the abyssal void of sea souls which haunts him, and performing as Miranda's court jester, have left him sleepless, tired, and just looking for a friend to confide in... And cuddle.
