George Orwell promoted creating metaphors rather than relying on dying metaphors. I therefore open the "Metaphornity ward" to share our birthed metaphors.

Two I made are:

“He was greeted as warmly as a rooster in the city”

“He was as deep and layered as a swiss roll”
