I tend to add alt text to these drawings to explain things further, but I'm drawing (ha ha) a bit of a blank. Well, I do recall that, around this time, I enjoyed taking sprites I liked from older games and drawing fan art of them while improvising certain aspects to fit my style. I did this a handful of times, although I feel this one turned out the best. ...Not too many people will see this post, but for those that do, I wonder how many of them played Mole Mania? I'd recommend trying it for yourself, but the only legal way to play it now is to hunt down a cartridge, and they're getting pretty pricey (such is the retro gaming market now, sadly). It WAS on the 3DS Virtual Console, but... that's unfortunately gone now. :(
Next up, another kangaroo! I drew this one back in 2013.
His name is Kangaroon, and he's the first boss in the Game Boy's "Mole Mania" (pretty good game, btw). I only had a small, black and white sprite to go by, so I had to improvise quite a bit with this one!
