Red and yellow trumpet vine flowers and leaves emerge from the woman's shoulder and are entwined around her arms and to her sides. She has brownish skin with gold swirls, and black braided hair. An open fan emerges from her head and hair. The fan floats in front of her. Its thirteen folds have intricate flower patterns of many hues. A bright blue and green hummingbird with outstretched wings and tail is at the top center. It flies upward toward open flowers and the sky. The top background is a road map with a large light green infinity symbol (like the movement of a hummingbird’s wings). The bottom background is a nautical map with large round compasses facing upward. Colors and patterns are everywhere. Created in 2011 in solidarity with the Arab Spring pro-democracy nonviolent resistance movements in the Middle East.
