'Pay and Display' car parks insist you do both to satisfy the contract. Sticking a ticket on your bike is prone to accidental or deliberate removal.
The National Park says keep the ticket and present if challenged. ANPR systems coming soon.

Versys 1000 motorcycle in the mountains on a sunny day.
Cwm y Fedw Ddu farmstead - the name translates from the Welsh as 'Cwm of the Black Birch' - emerging above the waters of Llyn Cwmystradllyn as the UK record spring drought continues.
An unusually-shaped sheepfold. The form is found occasionally and only in southern Eryri.
A fossilised shallow beach. This hasn't been recorded as far as I know. Such ripple bedform outcrops occur across Eryri, but there are not so many of them and most are well hidden in remote spots.
A fabulous day up southern Eryri this afternoon. I saw nobody at all in 5 hours. But I did find an unrecorded fossilised beach!
The lake is lowering quickly - and this is a wet place. An old farmstead, once known as 'Cwm y Fedw Ddu', has emerged above the waters now.
