I created this background in procreate. It's is half of the We Heart Leadville sign, but it's been vandalized with spray paint so that the heart has a zigzag through it and a swoosh has been adding to the "L" of Leadville to turn it into a "D." When this sign existed in Leadville, it was common for it to be defaced this way. I then added loose green and brown spray paint under the sign. Above the sign, the spray paint transitions from green to brown to grey and then to blue. I was trying to give the impression of the mountain landscape and a blue sky around the sign in an abstract way. Text over the background reads: “What happens when we get home?” she asked in an attempt to distract herself from the desire that built at the simple touch of Nate’s lips. “We get you that shower you so desperately need,” Matthew said. “And we fulfill our promise to fill you up completely.” Nate said. “And the rest? Our relationship? Do we try to define that?” Julia asked, biting her bottom lip. “We take our time,” Nate said. “I don’t want either of you to rush into this with me. I’m still not sure I can commit the way you need me to. Although, I never imagined this.” He paused, moistening his mouth before letting out a sigh. “What is it?” Julia asked. “Are you really both offering to be with me?” Nate asked. “Both of you? All of us, together?”

I hit 50K words on my Leadville zombie romance last night. To celebrate, I thought I'd do a second WIP post today.
