I can't relate to the Metro Van planning environment, but unless Canadian cities are allowed to add municipal sales taxes, there is only so much they can do.

I’m watching the #munifinance conference (great job as always @dbergstresser ) and it’s always so striking how academics produce their work in pairs or groups. I so rarely write something with someone else. How do you sustain that for the duration of an academic paper?
