Meet Hana and Noah They are childhood friends who grew up together in Malibu, California, and have grown to appreciate each other in a very loving way. While they do pretend to be friends around family, they are actually dating and one of Noah’s friends actually put a bet on to see if Noah had the guts to kiss her for the first time (He did). Hana is Muslim. She fasts, prays, and she wears hijab. However, there are some things in the religious life (Namely sex and who to choose as a partner) that she chooses for herself or takes her own liberties to. She is also on bad terms with her parents. Hana is also really stubborn and tough, but she gets all mushy and stuff when Noah is with her. She runs a gym for women and is a surfer girl. Noah is a Christian, but he has developed an interest in Islam after realizing his feelings for Hana. He's observant, patient, and he knows how to throw a punch but rarely needs to. He works as an EMT, and he is extremely dedicated to respecting Hana and her culture.

Aisha Khalili A young Muslim nurse who moved into Westbrook not too long ago with her girlfriends Sara and Elsa. She is sweet, kind, and willing to help out anyone at the cost of her energy. However, she has a strained relationship with her mother due to her being the eldest of two daughters and is often not wanting to go home despite always following the traditions of her religion. She also suffers burnout from her work which Sara and Elsa know to comfort her from.
