Two comic frames, one above the other, depicting a purple-twinged savanna/scrubland scene, appearing to be early sunrise or sunset. The first frame has faint sparks flickering above the ground, while the second has a violent explosion marked by a "FWOOSH" onomatopoeia, casting harsh light on the surroundings.
One panel of that same scrubland scene, this time with an anthropomorphic cape genet sitting in the crater created by the explosion, in a meditative pose. Two side-by-side panels beneath this depict her slowly opening her eyes, with a confused expression.
Four panels depicting the genet standing up and collecting her bearings:
PANEL ONE, rising to her feet: "...where am I? I was off by miles, it looks like."
PANEL TWO, to the right of panel one, depicts the genet looking up and around, folding up the fiery orange mat she'd been sitting on.
PANEL THREE, beneath panel two and from a bit further away, the genet is looking around in confusion, tucking the mat into her pants: "'least I didn't land anyplace inhabited..."
PANEL FOUR, taking up the bottom half of the page and looking upward at the genet, she puts on the flannel shirt she'd been wearing around her waist, looking unsure: "...downside is that I, uhm, didn't land anyplace inhabited. Guess it's time to get walking."
As it turns out, joining an art RP server is very good for motivation, and provides the impetus to practice oft-neglected things like backgrounds and scenery. Win/win!
