All the places in the hearts have the word 'love' in them, apart from the central one. I was amazed to find an actual place called Hearts Delight!

Today, I'm combining #FebruArty2026 #feel and #ValentinesDay. The heart-shaped lavender bags feel very soft as they're made with felt, and the place names on the card were specifically chosen for today. #myowndesigns #handmade #homegrownlavender #reusing #oldmaps

"On The Ball" This depicts a British footballer wearing a red & white striped top, black shorts, red & white socks, & football boots. His left foot is resting on a leather football. Everything is fabric apart from his eyes, boots and the ball, which were cut out from old magazines. The background is printed paper of a field with daisies & buttercups.

"Ready To Play" is a British Rugby player, with a green & white striped top, black shorts, green & white socks, a leather rugby ball and boots. He is holding the rugby ball with his right arm, while his left arm is behind his back. Again, everything is fabric apart from his hair, eyes, boots and the ball which were cut out from old magazines. The background paper represents a green field with buttercups and daisies. I have made fabric eyes before but, bearing in mind the total figure is only 4" tall, they are extremely 'fiddly' so I now do paper eyes.
