Yesterday, I joined @momsrising.org and @civilrightsorg.bsky.social at #NABJ50 to highlight how parents, educators, and community leaders are speaking out for all students—and against the attacks on public schools.

tangential: yesterday during the #nabj50 panel, a reporter asked what we (as faculty) think is happening internally bc of SB1 in ohio. i said bluntly, it’s creating an environment of suspicion. no one speaks up, leaving marginalized faculty to wonder if that’s what their colleagues secretly support
