My first experience was harsh too, but It just had a revamp and upgrade and now has a dedicated staff team thanks to the #OpenHomeFoundation and #NabuCasa so I have high hopes for it. They did a livestream last month which is well worth a watch

Wenn ich mich per #Tailscale mit meinem #HomeAssistant verbinde, dann verbraucht das sehr viel Akku. Man sieht dann, dass die App 20-30 und mobile Daten 50-60% Akku verbrauchen. Hab jetzt aktuell #NabuCasa Cloud im Betrieb und der Akku Verbrauch ist wieder normal. (1/2)

ZBT-2 is really a great piece of hardware. Moreover, migration of my Zigbee network from ZBT-1 was boringly simple, and the latter now serves as a Thread border router. Well done, #nabucasa!
