Ways to celebrate teens in the classroom: 1) Make teens the teacher for a day. Ask students to bring something they enjoy into the classroom for show-and-tell. 2) Volunteer together. Let the class choose a cause to volunteer for then plan a group volunteer activity. 3) Give students a day off. Give students a one-time homework pass, easy class day, or weekend off from homework. 4) Write compliment worksheets. Have students write their name on top of a sheet of paper, then pass it around for others to write a kind thing about that classmate.

Ways to celebrate teens at home: 1) Ask your teen to teach you. Learn something new about what your teen likes, and do it together—like learning a TikTok dance, a sports trick, or playing their favorite game. 2) Plan something fun. Choose something you both enjoy or go out of your way to do something your teen enjoys. 3) Give your teen a day off. Give your teen a day off from chores. Let them know you appreciate them! 4) Connect heart-to-heart. Make time to have a meaningful conversation and ask about their thoughts and feelings.
