Coming down off the Chilterns, there's some great views of #SouthOxfordshire, after Blue Tin Farm shop cafe. Garsons Lane #NCN5 is pretty narrow, but the road surface on the descent to the Ipsen area is not too bad really...

I was on Peep-O-Day lane #NCN5 between the Sutton Ct'nay Road & Abingdon this morning, & found a slightly disturbing flexipave pothole 'repair', using chunky gravel. Hoping it's temporary, as that the gravel seems unlikely to stay in situ...

Very interested to see some provisional plans at some point. Really hoping for some decent, appropriate design, that works well for both cyclists & pedestrians, but doesn't treat them as one and the same.

#NCN5 still underwater between Kennington and Iffley

NCN5 Path requires clearing in Kennington area.

Good to see siding out in progress (?) on the #NCN5 path between Sandford & #Oxford. Surprised just how wide the cleared path is, in the area south of the Southern bypass. Still some areas where it's narrow - Kennington footbridge woods. #OxfordshireCountyCouncil @sustrans.bsky.social

That's the difference between business and pleasure... For me, #NCN5 Is the tourist route and the #A38 the commuter.

How do the numbers compare for Sat and Sun? Do they differ just as much?
