I hand in my PhD thesis tomorrow!
Today I created my table of contents and my lists of figures & tables, checked my headings & all my captions.
About an hour ago I formatted & compressed the PDF. So… that’s it!
She’s good to go!

Minor formatting setback. Every single reference had an incorrect DOI link… 7 hours later & I’ve updated them all 😮💨

I bought a car today, and also read through 3 of 7 chapters. It’s been a good day!
Tomorrow I’ll be reading through the other 4 chapters and attempting to put them all together into one document without crashing Word… pray for me!

1/4 of my discussion is written, and I’ve been making some figures for this section. I also made a cheeky little strat column for one of my research chapters because why not!

Honestly? It’s getting pretty tough.
I’m juggling wrapping up all three research chapters & writing my discussion. Hoping to make some good progress with my discussion today… then it’s just the introduction to write.

This week I am working on my third and final research chapter - it’s 90% of the way there but this final push will be worth it!
I have written 5/8 chapters now, but I can’t take my foot off the gas just yet 😮💨

I’ve actually taken the weekend off! Unheard of for me this year. I’ve enjoyed some rest & re-cooperation before my final six weeks.
Tomorrow I’ll be adding some work to a research chapter that didn’t make the paper.

This week I’m polishing up research chapters: re-reading, making figures look super pretty (easy to do on Mars), catching typos. Soon I’ll be moving on to writing my discussion chapter. 5/8 chapters written now.

The figures for my final research chapter are coming together really nicely this week, and I’ve decided to split my time & also work on crafting my literature review - it’s slowly getting there!
