Northern Beaches Council were forced to erect a “shark spotted” sign at Manly Cove Swimming Enclosure on Wednesday morning after locals spotted the shark swimming inside the netted area.

Yesterday marked the dreaded day, when 51 shark nets were once again dropped into NSW beaches.
This year, 3 councils, will trial the removal of a net at one beach each. It’s a small step, but nowhere near enough.
Shark nets don’t keep swimmers safe, they kill marine life.
