Ramadan is a special time, and pregnant or breastfeeding women can choose whether to fast.
If you do, try to drink plenty, eat balanced meals, rest, and listen to your body. If you feel unwell or have concerns, pause your fast and contact your midwife, health visitor or GP.

Pelvic Girdle Pain is common and can cause discomfort around your hips, groin or lower back.

After birth, your baby stays connected via the umbilical cord.
Waiting at least 1 min (or until pulsing stops) helps baby get more blood & nutrients.
