The Sago Fire on the Mescalero Apache Reservation grew to 250 acres. Firefighters worked through the night to build containment lines and suppress the fire. Temps dropped and humidity increased aiding in suppression efforts. No structures or communities are threatened. #NMFire

Containment raised to 50% today after lines held in stronger winds yesterday. Crews continue mopping up interior heat, strengthening lines, and removing hazardous trees. Threat to homes has passed, but avoid the bosque.

There was a small vegetation fire that started at the Atrisco Little League Fields near Central and Atrisco in Albuquerque. Crews responded quickly to the 2 acre fire and have mostly put it out already. #NMFire #NMwx
