A relatively slim kererū. At first one might think it's just a normal pigeon, but it has a really white chest and greenish/purple wings and throat. Super noisy when flying.

Huh, that's unusual. Saw a kererū sitting on the steps behind VUW Kelburn today. It noisily flew off to the tree afterwards. #birdsNZ #notFromTheArchives
