the first ever art of X ! its been some time since ive drawn them... X is a HUGE troublemaker, and is actually really young as far as my demon OCs go. they love skateboarding, but usually end up bailing out of most tricks, hence the nosebleeds I always draw them with.

another 2019-2020 piece ! I dont think ive really talked about my synesthesia at all here, and i dont plan on going indepth here about it too much but music is a HUGE thing with it; sound translates directly to colour for me, so I wanted to convey what that felt like here. on top of that, the sensory joy that music brings

a piece from around early 2021 iirc? I wanted something that felt cool and comforting at the same time, and this palette was what I ultimately settled on. it kinda has that 'lo-fi anime beats to relax to' feeling to it, like it would be ripped as the uncredited background art to the video. or maybe im too generous with that accolade O is one of those characters who is easy to draw and toss into any situation, and yet I never end up doodling them as much as other ocs. I blame the testosterone im taking--O was a gender/appearance muse of mine, how i hoped id look on T. now when I draw self portraits, it feels like its itching the spot that O usually filled in an artistic sense. its interesting to think about. you could say that O has nowhere to go, nowhere to really be

another null and void.... thing. sometimes I struggle to call this an 'art piece' when referring to it, to this series as a whole. most of these pieces happen when I need to vent out an indescribable feeling that my brain does. speaking to itself in different tones, differing personalities that talk over each other. theres a lot to unpack there. not to mention clinically. but, these two again! this one is actually pretty old. probably 2018 or so? you can really tell its old by the anatomy, so anyone who's been following since the beginning knows this was the end of art college for me... part of me wants to revisit it, someday. null, the blue haired one, is typically overshadowed by void. void is the front man, the one people are outwardly relying on, and its a lot of pressure. null knows this, and was supposed to be representing a mix of suppressing your courage with your anxiety, pushing your wants down, and the frustration that came from *knowing* it was happening. the helplessness. the internal 'if you'd just listen!' shout to your brain as it does whatever it wants chemically. hair is another huge motif with these two. typically void uses it to block out things, be it as a protective thing or as a privacy one. null is usually seen with their face or body partially covered to reinforce the idea that the 'better you' is peeking through the facade. Sometimes that 'better you' is envious, but here, null feels nearly apathetic to void's struggling, but still watches on anyways. hey if u read all if this u should tell me if it was remotely coherent
