Flash Flood Warning issued March 23 at 3:08PM HST until March 23 at 4:30PM HST by NWS Honolulu HIAt 308 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain decreasing in intensity
over windward Oahu, Manoa Valley, and Palolo Valley. Rain was
falling at a rate of 1 to 1.5 inches per hour. Water levels in
streams in Manoa, Palolo, and urban Honolulu are slowly lowering,
while windward Oahu streams at Waiahole and Waikane remain high.
Flash flooding is ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible
in steep terrain.
