In light of finishing this picture after two months of being archived, I have found that in these few years of coloring and learning texture better, I've DISCOVERED HOW TO COLOR TREETOPS AND WATER TO MAKE THEM LOOK LOVELY.
I am feeling very achieved at CURRENT, pun intended.

I actually started working on this piece 2 months ago, and forgot about it... ...I spent 4 hours on it, decided I'd take a break and put it away, and then left it there, abandoned, my poor doodle. Maybe it was for the best, as I am coloring better now than I was two months ago, and it has helped me realize that I now know how to color a river to make it spicy. This sparks joy. -nylfieart

Over 24 hours of doodling and 150 frames later, the Axolotl Sea Slug Jellyfish animation has been completed! This is the most I've poured into any hand drawn animation I've worked on so far, and I'm insanely excited to see where my skills and love for art take me from here.

My very first Pokémon from any of the games was Totodile (If we're going plush-based, Snubbul, but I don't have him anymore 🥲). I named him Spike. Changed it to Irwin later on (for my boi Steve), but Totodile and Pokémon Gold will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Pokémon Nuzlocke challenges are always a little too much for me to handle, so I thought up an idea. Why not have a Pokémon "Artlocke" instead?! Though some of the #Pokémon I've drawn on this journey so far may look silly, they're also ones I've never drawn before, so it's great practice!

Pokemon Artlocke. The rules are simple. Draw the first Pokemon you encounter in each route. You cannot draw the same Pokemon twice. Keep encountering on the same route until you get a new one. If there are no new ones, reset playthrough. Draw again. It cannot be a story/forced encounter. You must encounter the Pokemon in exploration. The run will be completed once you've drawn a Pokemon for every route. You cannot use "AI-generated art." I hope everyone who tries my art challenge has fun! Thank you! -nylfieart
