Home with a migraine today. Pain has gone but can still feel it. Channeling the need to keep hands busy by cleaning, servicing & sharpening my secateurs. A task I do a lot less often than I should. Surprisingly meditative. #nzgarden 🌱

I have just googled "can you make chili sauce from frozen chilies?" and the answer is yes. This decreases my "the chilies aren't all ripening at the same time" anxiety significantly #nzgarden

#nzgarden a question for you all

Do ponga leaves acidify the soil? Can I use them to prevent overgrowth of wandering Jew?

I have a strip of land which is pretty rarely used. It's roughly about the width of a car and has grass on it. I am tired of mowing this grass and want to replace it with something that's going to look good, doesn't need to be mowed, doesn't grow taller than mowed grass but can be walked.
