This Spanish-made Astra 400 has been an absolute pleasure to shoot, and it's remarkably accurate. I shouldn't be surprised, since the 400 feels a lot like a 1911 in my hands.

For the belt-and-suspenders kind of man is this S&W .38 Double Action "Perfected." These were made from about 1909 to 1920 and chambered in .38 S&W.

This pistol was made by Stephen Odell of Natchez, Mississippi. He was born in New York and setup shop in Mississippi in the early 1840s.

Here's something I don't talk much about: the @smithandwessoninc Model 1½.

This particular gun left the factory in 1872 and went to the company's sales agent in New York City. From there it went to St. John, NB, Canada.
