By applying perspective and rendering techniques, the whole piece is much more realistic and closer to what I originally imagined. The rain appears distant but is clearly approaching, this time over a forest with a winding river, the dimming sun rays are forming rainbows as it reflects off the rain. There are floating islands being struck by lightning and flying creatures in the distance.

Using shading and perspective techniques I learned over the years, the artwork is more immersive and realistic. The tornado appears distant but still close enough that the roar could be heard, though it is no longer directly above the lake, which is now in the foreground along with several pine trees. The tornado is swirling up dust as two bolts of lightning strike around it.

I remember taking hours blending, redrawing and blending again just to get it right before. Where it took me several hours just to finish one piece.
Improvement in art takes time, patience and discipline. Never rush it :D
