A whirligig at the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park in Wilson North Carolina. I used my Olympus Pen and Kodak ProImage 100 film to make the pictures. Simpson's whirligigs are designed to move in the wind and they moved in the wind that day. They are also a bit noisy, something not recorded in still photography. Vollis Simpson (1919 – 2013) made the kinetic sculptures out of recycled materials, which included scrapped street signs. He named them whirligigs. About 30 of them are collected in this park. Others can be found in various places in Wilson and other places.

I ran some Kentmere Pan 400 through my Pen EE, which only goes to ISO 200. The outcome was good. Dev'd at ISO 200. The camera's fun, but I'm going to get rid of it because I just don't use it very much.
