Since the Contemptor kit only has two and the resin Dark Angels Contemptor doesn't come with any I need to make some copies of the shoulder blocks using Oyumaru moulds and a GS/Milliput mix

2 halfs of an oymaru mould filled with green stuff and held in 3d printed grey frames.

Decided I wanted to use some of the 2nd ed plastic bolters on jet bike, but can't really spare any.

So here is my attempt to cast some more using oyumaru.

I've tried to improve my technique from previous attempts and am very happy with the results.

An old metal model and two attempts to recast it in green stuff and miliput using oyumaru. Sitting on a blue cutting mat.

So my experimentation had mixed results. The first one was not good, but second managed to pick up quite a bit of detail. Even if it is a bit fat.
I've got a few more things to try so hopefully I can make further improvements.
