🎯 Objective # 3 in the Spotlight
3️⃣ Defining a roadmap for the optimal surface ocean #pCO2 #observing system
TRICUSO will work with RI partners @icos-ri.eu, @embrc-eu.bsky.social and @euro-argo.eu, and with the GOOS networks to determine how to deliver an optimised system.

The EMSO Generic Instrument Module, #EGIM, was deployed for 5 months at the Norwegian Sea to test #pCO2 sensors developed in the GEORGE project. The platform was recovered from its measuring depth of 2000 meters in early March.
Take a look at how the recovery operation went in the video below! 👀 🌊
Exciting news! GEORGE deployment at Station M in the Norwegian Sea has concluded with the successful recovery of the #EGIM platform. The purpose of the 5-month deployment was to test #pCO2 sensors on EGIM and improve #sensor membranes in a deep-sea environment. Next step is to analyse the data 🌊👀
🌊 How can marine data be made more #interoperable? What progress has been made in enhancing adaptive sampling, #calibration and improved validation of #pCO2 data?
