I felt a strong reassurance coming from other-side trying to tell him it will all be all right, and to take time to be still, though he may feel like his head is barely above water.He is surrounded by magic, and just needs to trust that its there.

A light blue mermaid with a lilac shawl reminiscent of sea anemone swims with a dark blue aquatic dragon. The background is a multicolour collage of blues, green, and lilac that looks like an underwater garden.

Now that she has it I can post this piece I made for a friend using a technique I (and some others) call paint gazing, some call it reverse colouring. I smoosh paint down and find and define shapes. I love it. It’s joyful and creative and freeing. #paintgazing #art #acrylics #watercolour
