(there are over 6,000 books in #patchq - moving is very very fun)
#patchq
It's been a wild start to the year, not least because #patchq has moved (and so have we!). It's not far, but it has been rather tumultuous, aided by our travelling a fair bit during the process. But! It's time to unpack the books, and put Prudence in her place, and thus the March #patcbox is go ❤️
Notably at #patchq we take a Swedish approach to advent Sundays on which we eat saffron buns, and drink julmust, or possibly mulled wine if I can find some. The first book of this period of time is always Nigel Slater's Christmas Chronicles, Crow's favourite ever cookbook.
If you've ever wondered what the inside of Crow's #patchq office looks like, here is a rare peak XD Also do go and take a look at her new #stuff100 project because it is COOL and you ought to!
Books stacked in heaps in a large living room, too many to count, just thousands of books in stacks, how could anyone ever sort them out?
Going through some old pictures, reminded of the time when, in early lockdown in 2020, I thought what would be a great idea would be to get all my books together in #patchq and reorganise them.
This is roughly the point at which Crow got scared.
This was not all of the books. 💙📚
Day 7 - A concerned Frog, well wrapped up in scarf and jacket, leans over Toad who's sunk into a thick snowdrift. A fir tree covered in snow is visible in the background.
Day 7 (2022):
Day seven of #patcadvent is Frog and Toad all Year, by Arnold Lobel in which Frog tries to convince a reluctant Toad to leave his warm house for some fun winter adventures. Unfortunately, Toad remains unconverted 😆
Very much staying home at #patchq today though...
#PatCHQ is ready now :) Christmas books are just waiting to emerge from their boxes!
