#paythemaintainers but not #paytheartist? I fully support paying open source, but that AI slop is absolutely disgusting 🤮

Maintainers can't eat code. That's why companies SHOULD (per RFC 2119) join @opensourcepledge.com and #paythemaintainers and not just contribute upstream (which they SHOULD also keep doing!).
