For this #PhotobookFriday, I chose Erinn Springer's 'Dormant Season'.
This quietly powerful work captures the emotional landscape of rural Wisconsin in stark B&W — blending grief, memory, and resilience into images that feel timeless, intimate, and deeply rooted in place.
Today Book for #PhotobookFriday is by my favorite Photographer, Josef Koudelka.
Josef Koudelka’s Exiles is a hauntingly poetic photographic exploration of displacement and solitude. The book, first published in 1988, captures Koudelka’s experiences as a wanderer after he fled Czechoslovakia.

Since I mostly shoot in Black & White, I'm starting #PhotobookFriday with something different. In the 50s, color photography was rare.
"The Segregation Story" by Gordon Parks captures this era. In 1956, after the Montgomery bus boycott, Parks documentes African American lives under Jim Crow laws.
I’ve been thinking about doing a 'Photobook Friday' 📸📚 series where I highlight photobooks I own or ones that have grabbed my attention recently.
Who else here is into photobooks? Let’s talk photography!

#photobookfriday is that a thing here? I love #masahisafukase #photography, he is one of my faves. Until recently, I was kind of meh on his later work. This book #PrivateScenes has changed that. He is in almost all images in one form or another, in a very lovable way. See replies for a few more 📸
