Today marks a week of having Amber in my care. The photo on the left is today-- after the mass in her eye had moved. I went to look at it closer, and... It came *out*.

To think I had initially contacted the rescue with "Is someone able to pick up this bird for a mercy run?" #pigeonrescue #pigeons

She now tries to bite me and she wing slaps me. Probably sounds weird that I am happy that an animal is being defensive towards me, but this is her asserting herself and trying to protect herself from a perceived threat. She wants to live. #pigeons #pigeonrescue #pigeonsky

Went in, see a freaked out sales assistant who asks if she can help me.

Me: "I noticed you had a visitor you'd probably prefer to be not in your shop."
