An art piece featuring three quilted blocks. Each one depicts a chest with a different type of top surgery procedure. At the top of each block is a small embroidered star. The bottom panel has gold tassels on the ends.

Small quilt with four stacked panels on the left side. Each is a small vignette featuring a button. From top to bottom, we see a butterscotch candy, an egg breaking open, a few pills, and three flowers. On the right side of the quilt we see the buttons previously featured and others, leading up to a tired looking eye.
Totality
Photo of my current wip. We can see a half lidded eye and part of a nose on drawn on white fabric. Several buttons rest below the eye.
I'm entering an artistic era with a lot of buttons in it...
Black panel with gold tassels. A gold star is embroidered at the top of the panel. Inside, brown felt, buttons and embroidery floss show a chest with the results of a buttonhole top surgery procedure.
Part 1 of a piece about top surgery, this one is the buttonhole procedure ;)
Photo of my thumb next to one made out of fabric.
A photo of my quilt, Al Dente. In the center panel is a thumb made of white fabric and painted with pink watercolor. The right of side of the thumb is chewed on and bleeding. Surrounding the center panel is a border that looks like teeth. The four blocks in the corners are a deep red and have fake saliva on them (they're meant to resemble chewing on the inside of your cheek)
Closeup of the quilt showing the teeth border.
Closeup of the thumb.
(cw for depiction of nervous thumb biting)
My first quilt of 2026, Al Dente 🦷
Closeup photo of my quilt, Al Dente. We see part of a thumb in a red central panel. A quilted border made of teeth surrounds it.
Good morning! My first ko-fi process post is up! For the low price of 2$, you can read about how I made a weird little quilt about anxious habits (you only have to support me once to see this and future posts!)
Work in progress photo of my quilt, Al Dente. A thumb made of white fabric is in the center of a wine red panel.

A marker drawing of my character Dr. Maxwell Caulfield. He's standing on a balcony at night with the full moon behind him. He has one hand in his pocket and the other moves to put out a cigarette.
Don't let your students catch you smoking, doctor
Sketch of a knight kneeling on the ground. She supports her weight with a sword partially stuck in a rock. Behind her are two mandibles and pairs of bug wings. She's bleeding through her clothing with a large stab wound in her side and dribbling blood from her mouth.
A sketch of a large monster holding a smaller woman in the palm of its hand. The creature has large horns like a steer, with a pair of smaller black antlers. A thick main obscures its eyes. It wears a scarf around its neck and waist. A bell dangles from its tail.
Drawing of a girl sitting on her mattress in front of an older tv with rabbit ears. The screen shows the signal lost color bars. On the carpeted floor is a screwdriver, an RCA adapter, pliers, a cassette tape, a VHS tape, and tape rewinder.
Some favorites from my old sketchbooks
A portrait of my sibling's cat, Wednesday. In the center panel, she sits on a pillow with a happy expression. Her name is written above her with a black heart. In each corner is a drawing of her in a flower hat. Her bacon toy and ribbon wand frame the center panel.

An ink drawing of my OC Hutch, leaning forward with his wrists bound together. He wears a white leotard with black tights and white slippers. An offscreen force pulls his arms behind him
She won't let him go
Photo of a (very wrinkly) black quilt. In the center panel, a skeleton stands and waves. The border of the quilt is decorated with stylized stalks of wheat and anemone flowers on each corner.
I'd love to get a better photo of this one, but here's the memento mori quilt I made for my sibling in 2023. Hopefully I can get back to working at this scale soon!
7-8 am, I am roused from sleep by my cat Olive. Feeding the kitties. It's my last day staying with my mom. 8-9 am, making tea I will forget about. Earl grey with milk and sugar. I tell my mom about the job fair I went to yesterday, saying "there were sandwiches, pasta salad, 2 cookies AND an Andes mint!" 9-10 am, tea and Tarkus (progressive rock album by Emerson, Lake and Palmer) time.
Single hourly comic here from 10 to 11 am. "Had my tea, now I have to have my T. On February 23, I'll have my four year anniversary of starting it! How many years until I get sick of this joke?" A music symbol at the bottom shows that I am listening to Kalopsia by Queens of the Stone Age.
It's #hourlycomicsday and I didn't forget this year! Hoping I have the strength to finish them 💪

A drawing of Chappell Roan in her Mugler 2026 Grammy Awards outfit, consisting of a red dress held up by nipple piercings.

Ink drawing of the two protagonists of Orangepeel, Onionskin. Mona, a thin woman with a facial deformity and short, dark hair, gently touches the face of her partner, Lave. Lave, a fat man with short white hair, looks serene. Blood stains the front of his tunic. Both of their lower halves are being swallowed by a giant snake, making the composition into a heart shape.
(cw: blood, snake violence)
Replayed Orangepeel, Onionskin by @godaughtr.bsky.social and @pepperbloom.bsky.social over the weekend. Still such a beautiful, dark experience.
clay model of an ivory ornamental tarantula
One of my models for the invertefest anthology 🕷️
Referenced drawing of my sister's cat. The perspective is skewed so his snout is longer and he looks like he doesn't have ears.
I said I'd paint some landscapes on my trip but I only drew this

A sketch of my ocs Maxwell and Harley dancing. Maxwell, a fat man with sideburns and scars on the lower part of his face, dips Harley, a lanky bigender person with long dark hair. Maxwell looks down at his partner, but she's looking to the right at something offpage. Held in his one visible hand is an eye shaped bolo tie.

Pencil drawing of a woman stepping out from behind a tree with a wary expression. She wears a black turtleneck, an ankle length sleeveless dress and black boots. Obscured by the shadowy tree in the background, she holds a knife with blood dripping off of it. Some blood is splattered on her chest and skirt.
Took a break from bug work to try out a new method of drawing trees

Illustration of a dark haired woman. She stands in front of a tv and looks back at the viewer with one eye. Her hair transitions into film strips and spills out into the frame around her. The frame includes a screwdriver, a box cutter, a geeb, AV cords, and four madeleines that sit in the corners. Above the woman is an eye made of curled film, with a casette roller pupil.
Here's some older art while I work on illustrations for an anthology/5 other projects at once 📺

A quilted portrait of a transgender man. He's a white silhouette on a black background, standing with his head turned as two hands, either his own or that of a surgeon, pull out his breast tissue (quilt batting painted pink) on one side and sew it up with gold thread on the other.

A quilt on a wall made using the Courthouse Steps block. Describing it from the outside in, the binding is black fabric, the grey row strips are made from my old sports bra, the black strips are made from my chest binder, the tan strips are a compression bandage, and a wonky square of white gauze lies in the center.
"Becoming, Becoming, Becoming"
Made with my decades old sports bra, underworks binder, compression bandage, and gauze. Sewn inside is my hospital bracelet. I'm one month post-op and I feel incredible ⚧️

A gouache painting featuring a vulture. It has cotton stuffing in its mouth as it pulls a piece of yarn with a googly eye attached from an object out of frame. The vulture perches on a ball of yarn next to a cutely decorated felt page and torn open stuffed animal.
A painting from 2024, "Carrion", about the dangers of nostalgia.
