How to improve "Pirate Express"; Step 1: Introduce Gordon the octopus to an evil twin!
I was originally going to draw my main antagonist Slingy on this occasion, then I thought of following on from my previous Toon June entry for 2023 by drawing my own version of Mage, the main antagonist in the "Trick Moon" pilot (assuming that was his name)!

Pirate Express may probably be the worst co-produced Canadian cartoon in history (the entire series was dumped by Teletoon over the course of 5 days in April 2015), but I took the main character Newt out of that supposed hellhole and rebooted the character! A few years ago I drew an older version of this character, which can be seen in my timeline.
Newt from "Pirate Express", but rebooted by yours truly and free from all evil forces! That would probably mean such a reboot would only feature Newt, and almost no one else!
Anyway, I gave #Newt a refresh since the 9th anniversary of #pirateexpress was last Friday 26th April.
