I feel like a #PlasticStraw wrapped in a plastic package is something of a relic nowadays.

When ordering a drink, I ask if the straw is plastic or cardboard and decline if plastic, and explain why.

I got a pack of 20 cardboard straws (super cheap) and I sometimes carry them with us to use instead of plastic.

And the last idea is that if we think of #AI as an assistive device, it helps us get much more curious about where we are directing our attention around its climate impacts and bad actors. It's all very #PlasticStraw outrage in a lot of ways. It's complex! I'm staying curious for sure.

Up until the end of the eighties, straws really were not a thing, apart from a novelty at children’s parties.

We drank from glasses.

Maybe we should just recognise them as single use trash we don’t need.
