Found a journal article about PPD allergy, and found it rather enlightening. Apparently, PPD moves into the epidermis and dermis of the skin, and oxidises into the allergenic hapten. Prevalence is 6.2% in North America, 4% in Europe and 4.3% in Asia.

Bad news! My trial of soaking the Kink3D black cages in 2% Hydrogen Peroxide has failed. Had to remove my cage after a few hours, because of the itch and redness. Looks like it is back to the drawing board again! ☹️

Started my 2% Hydrogen Peroxide soak of my 0 Curved & 1 XD rings, as well as the Baby Viper Narrow. Will soak it for 2 days, then try to put it on. Hopefully, I will not get any allergic reaction. Will keep you guys posted!

An update on Kink3D cages and PPD allergy. After I suggested testing the cages stability after soaking with 2% hydrogen peroxide, Yoshi said that they will do some testing on the physical integrity of cages after soaking . Looking forward to the results of the test!
