So! I got a new jumping spider at the reptile expo last weekend, and I'm still not sure what to name him.

I'd originally been planning to get a girl and name her Klee, but then I saw this boy and fell in love.

Ivy, a small female jumping spider, sitting in a wooden hide. Her coloring is mostly a dark greyish brown, with lighter brown spots on her abdomen. She has large black eyes, and fuzzy pedipalps. There's a bit of moss in the back of the hide, and there's a green and beige climbing rope hanging from the front of it.

Ivy, a p regius jumping spider, is sitting in an acrylic enclosure. She's halfway out of a web hammock. She's medium brown in color, with black stripes on her legs, and large black eyes with tiny little black eyelashes. Her pedipalps are a lighter brown and very fluffy.

My jumping spider, Ivy, let me hold her today! 😍

I didn't get any pictures because she was clearly very nervous about the new experience, but after a bit of panicking, she seemed to realize that my hands were a safe place and that I wasn't going to hurt her.
