something important I learned today: structurally, bluesky isn't really "a website where people post things"
Instead, each *user* is effectively a website. Bluesky is an app for posting to your site and managing/following your web ring.
Which is cool and clever! but can also be *very dangerous*

that means scraping and surveilling bluesky is **extremely easy** even compared to sites owned by shitty corporate oligarchs
like you should pretty much assume a copy of whatever you post here is saved to a government computer somewhere
