The strangely hollow clangs and crashes of metal debris as it all finally started coming down. The roar of inferno paled against the freight-train roar and ringing in his ears. Prompto's first thought as he weakly lifted his head to gaze across the brown, brittle remains of a prairie lawn, "Oh, shit." Second thought? "Ignis is going to kill me."

Okay, I'm cheating a little but it's a gif of a #Promnis idea I've wanted to write for a while. Maybe this will inspire me to get on it.

It’s the very real and messy problem of the fact that Prompto is the one who likes him. It's a silly little crush and nothing more; Prompto will douse it with the bonfire tonight and only see Ignis once every two weeks to drop two crates of chocobo eggs in the refrigerator at his perfect bakery in the city. And that will be that. Because Ignis deserves better than someone who was literally raised in a barn.
