Peer review depends on judgment: what holds up, what doesn’t, what’s missing. AI can support this, but cannot replace it.

There are now so many types of #researchpublication fakery. Here #papermills boosting their profiles and credibility by creating fake reviewers who also appear as authors on other papers - a “stable of fake scientists” with publication histories.
