As difficult as my coming out was years ago, it was so amazing to have him do what he did unannounced, let alone say what he did post skate. I had tears in my eyes the whole drive home from the rink. I hope he's with me this time next year so I can bring him to a Mutts game at CC. #PuckingMutts

Well, one more coached one on one in the books pre Montreal. Lotsa crossover and transition drills, and done on purpose with skates not laced up all the way. That makes you really have to work on getting every edge and weight transfer "on the money".

Reached out to my coach for a one on one session this week. He's a hoot. Replied with "Yep! Season's coming up man, gotta get you ready to wing with Matthews!".

Gonna be my best self at the tournament in October. My legs are gonna burn tho!
