Have now been finally able to #read the 1st issue of #punisherredband I know it's only the 1st issue, but this is SO MUCH BETTER than the disrespectful, insulting, horrendous, bullshit The Hand storyline crap by Jason Aaron! Now this is a true Punisher comic, the story is interesting enough to get my attention, especially with its twist that really makes the story different, but in a good way & not the shitty way! That twist pretty much blew my mind! Wow, not only is #thepunisher #frankcastle back in #marvelcomics with his upcoming #punisherredband #marvelredband miniseries, but there's also gonna be a new #marvelknightspunisher miniseries, an upcoming #daredevil #punisher miniseries called #devilstrigger & Frank is gonna be in an issue of #marvelblackwhitebloodandguts 🤘😃 And of course, the original skull logo is back as well (hell yeah! 🤘😃💀) & Frank is allowed to use guns & firearms again! And yes I know The Punisher uses other weapons too, but in a situation where a gun would be useful & he can't use it because the damn editor says so, it looks so god damn stupid! I love the Bernthal Punisher skull logo version, but in Born Again the left side of the logo looked unfinished, erased & pretty sloppy, at least in the Netflix shows there was a little stripe of white making it look more complete in comparison! The beard kinda bothers me more than the new skull logo. I know that The Punisher had beard in the comics before, especially in the Greg Rucka runs, but If you're gonna have the beard then you need to let the hair grow a little longer as well. Makes you wonder why he even shaved & got a haircut in the first place in Born Again..... I don't mind Frank having a five o'clock shadow (which is more fitting), but I prefer the original look. Seeing this pic & a couple of behind the scenes filming of shooting different scenes makes me more exciting for The Punisher Special! Jon has read a few of The Punisher comics & he really cherish the character so I'm fully positive in him being a co-writer on the script. I was hoping more on a new Punisher TV-show, but I'm not against the idea of a Marvel Special either. A TV-show might happen afterwards or who knows, maybe even a movie?!
