The same board, with the same design, but now the chef knife and the spatula are filled in as well, and the wooden spoon is partially burnt in around the top of the spoon, leaving it looking oddly like one of the Gallagher brothers off of Oasis...

Same board, same design, but now fully burnt in. The board has been treated with food safe mineral oil, which has slightly warmed the colour of the wood.

I started drawing this chopping board at about 4.00pm. Got interrupted a ridiculous number of times, and finally finished it at midnight! Probably would've taken a couple of hours otherwise 🙄

Stall at a Christmas Makers fair, displaying a range of wooden products decorated with pyrography. Including Christmas Eve boxes, jewellery boxes, pet treat boxes, chopping boards, wooden utensils.

Well, that was kinda disappointing, especially compared to the same event last year. Low footfall, low spend. Made back the cost of the table plus about 15£ 😩
