Feeling like I've been defeated at every turn this afternoon. I really tried making spaghetti, but every part of it went wrong. So after substituion after substitution, I came up with this! And gosh darn it, I think it is better than Spaghetti!

Crispy chicken and snap pea salad. I mandolined a piece of my thumb off slicing those radishes (ouch!), but it was worth it #ragecooking
A giant white enameled cast iron pot - in it we see raw chicken legs and thighs, big chunks of orange carrot and yellow parsnip, onion quarters and whole cloves of garlic, with a few pepper corns. The water has just just started to bubble.
My daughter came home for a visit and brought a head cold with her. So I am in Canadian Jew(ish) mother mode - making chicken soup with Alberta grown chicken, carrots, parsnips, onion, mushrooms and garlic. (Boycotting American grown celery.) Kosher salt from Italy. #ragecooking #ProductofCanada
