Just finished another 6:30 am meeting, but today the office window is open to let in the cool breeze and the scent of sweet rain. Outside it's that grey quiet I love so much, augmented by splashes from the street and the subdued throb of the nearby highway, dampened by the weather and fading even more into the background.
