Shapes and head cut out of the sketchbook and placed on the lid of a long and heavy toolbox I made from particle wood from an old dismantled bed frame. It has two ornate golden hinges on the top side, the box is partially and roughly painted with brown and gold colours, photographed on an angle from the top.

A few more details were newly added to the painting. The picture is taken at night under the lamp so the gold glistens nicely. It needs to dry again, but I think I will leave it for now.

Same picture of the painting. Gold drips from top through the branches across the halo, or the moon switching to dark. Dark and light is somewhat in a fragile balance even if the dark will devour it all.

Another layer is added, a tree branches or it might be antler growth, who knows. The stag's golden face is not as lost in the picture. Photographed under yellow light.

I think my black acrylic pen ran dry. So I will use either watercolour or different fine liners on an additional layer. Letting it dry again. #hannibal #ravenstag #art

I added some black watercolour details to the golden ravenstag. The top layer of this particle wood is old wooden structured veneer, so I can paint over places a lot.

Another stage of butchering this art. The gold paint is still sticky, so I used that feature in the dark feathery part. I do not know where this is going. And of course I am sick, thanks to that coughing teen at the bus. *Imagine travelling in a hazmat suit..* 🙄🤧 #hannibal #ravenstag
